Hi I am Jari Savander, I live in Helsinki, Finland.
I have been intrested in robotics for a quite a while. In the past I have been interested in electronics too, been radio-amateur with a working station etc. But for last ten year most of my 'developing' hobbies have been in pause mode.
So this year (2005) as I wanted again to 'play with technology' I started a Linux based robot project which is quite similar to OAP, so it might eventually integrate at least to some parts of it. Main purpose for this project is personal learning and fun, as usual.
At this stage I am not sure whether I can actually contribute to OAP and how, but that will be seen. I think that some sort of logic / AI programming will come to question, when I get my own ![[WWW]](/wiki/rightsidebar/img/moin-www.png){kind=small}
robot to stage of actually doing something. I like to do my projects in quite iterative manner, so that might actually take a while if I have to 'restart' many times.
